I like this vertical shot more than the horizontal.
I'm not sure why. Maybe it seems to have more depth and more character. Or maybe it's not so postcard-like because most postcards are horizontal shots.

Yes I like this shot better too. The other one is just boring. The foreground detail makes the difference I think
