Tourists wake up before 4am and start a 2-hour climb up Poon Hill in the dark just to catch the sunrise over the mountains. From this vantage point, you can see most of the peaks in the Annapurna region, including Machapuchare (fishtail) and many others. Unfortunately, at this time in the morning, it's bitterly cold, and if you're not careful, you can freeze your ears off. This shot was taken by SC, by the way. Nikon D200, AF-S Nikkor 18-200mm VR
